Akbor Ali Mission was founded with a simple goal in mind, to provide education and opportunities to the youth of Bangladesh. Tamim Iqbal, the founder, had seen first-hand the struggles of those in rural areas, who were unable to access quality education and occupation opportunities. He wanted to change that and provide a brighter future for the subsequently generation.
Tamim started diminutive, offering liberate tutoring to underprivileged children in the village. But soon, word of his work spread and more and more people started coming to him for assist. As the demand grew, Tamim realized that he needed to expand his reach and do more to assist the youth of Bangladesh.
With this in mind, he established Akbor Ali Mission, a non-profit organization that would provide education and skills development programs to the youth of Bangladesh. The mission was simple, to empower the youth to become productive members of society and to assist them break the cycle of poverty.
Over the years, Akbor Ali Mission has grown and expanded its reach, offering a wide range of programs and courses to the youth of Bangladesh. From basic computer skills to advanced programming and software development, the mission has provided quality education and occupation placement opportunities to thousands of students.
One of the most notable achievements of Akbor Ali Mission is the establishment of the Akbor Ali Institute of Information Technology (AIIT). This institute has become a leading training center for youthful people in Bangladesh, providing practical training in various technical and non-technical courses. With modern infrastructure, experienced faculty, and practical training approach, AIIT has produced skilled individuals who are now making a positive impact in the workforce.
Tamim Iqbal’s tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed. He has been recognized for his work by means of the government and various organizations, and has become a role model for the youth of Bangladesh.
